ROTOPAK LIMITED STANDARD FLEXIBLE PACKAGING SUPPLY TERMS

All prices are exclusive of GST. Delivery quantities may vary by ±20% in accordance with industry standards. For orders under 50,000 units or 300kg per variant, quantities supplied may vary by up to ±30%.

 

Pricing applies strictly to the quantities, designs, specifications and dimensions stated for each item (the “Packaging”). Any changes to these specifications may require a review and may result in a variation to pricing.

Prices can change due to unforeseen issues arising from foreign exchange, manufacturing, supply chain difficulties, or force majeure (for example, the US Iran war), and this advice amends the original signed terms and conditions of trade attached to the supply agreement application and guarantee.

All Packaging is supplied in accordance with the purchaser’s specifications. Rotopak Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Packaging. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the Packaging is suitable for its intended use and complies with all applicable food safety and regulatory requirements, including HACCP-based quality control procedures.

 

The purchaser must conduct regular quality checks during production (at least every 30 minutes) to ensure the Packaging is fit for use and free from defects. Rotopak Limited must be notified immediately upon identification of any issues.

 

For the avoidance of doubt, the Purchaser agrees to purchase the total quantity of Packaging specified in the applicable quote within the agreed period, commencing from the date of the first order. All orders will be supplied on a direct delivery basis, and the Supplier will not hold stock. The Purchaser agrees to place orders regularly and in sufficient time to meet agreed lead times, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

PAYMENT TERMS

 

Payment for all orders is to be made in accordance with the purchaser’s agreed trading terms with Rotopak Limited. Rotopak reserves the right to suspend supply where payment terms are not met.

 

Printing colours and shade variations may occur within normal industry tolerances. Rotopak Limited will use reasonable endeavours to match approved artwork; however, exact colour matching between production runs cannot be guaranteed.

 

Packaging performance may vary depending on the purchaser’s equipment and packing conditions. Rotopak Limited does not guarantee performance on all packing lines and recommends production trials prior to full commercial runs.

 

Packaging must be stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Rotopak Limited recommends use within 12 months of delivery and accepts no responsibility for deterioration due to improper storage.

 

Printing cylinders are manufactured specifically for each design. Any artwork changes after manufacture may require new cylinders at the purchaser’s cost.

 

Yield (pcs/kg) values are estimates only and may vary depending on machine setup and production variables.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL & RECYCLING DISCLAIMER

 

Recyclability and compliance with any recycling scheme is the responsibility of the purchaser. Rotopak Limited does not guarantee that any material structure complies with the Soft Plastics Recycling Scheme or any other programme. Approval for any recycling or sustainability claims must be obtained prior to printing.

 

In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and any Supply Agreement or trading agreement, these terms shall prevail unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

A binding contract is formed upon acceptance of any quotation or placement of an order. These terms, together with any applicable Supply Agreement or trading terms, constitute the agreement between the parties.
